Tea and Homework
Last night I had a lot of homework to do, so I made some tea and tried to stay focused on it. Tom also had a lot of work because he had had an interview at a great company and he wanted to write the perfect thank you letter. Both of us finished around 10pm. I hope Tom gets the job!

Teaching Demo and Evaluation
Today I had to say goodbye to Dad and Susan and then go to class and give a teaching demo for the MATESOL program chair. It was so nerve wracking! Here is a photo of me before class:

Do you see that slight grimace? That's because I thought I was going to vomit.
All in all, the lesson went ok. It was all about maps and giving directions. Here is a picture of the map that I designed and created:

I think the map was a little busy and could have used some colors, but it worked for the lesson.
In honor of Dad and Susan's visit, here is a picture of all of us (Tom, me, Susan, and Dad) on my balcony:

Homework and End of Term Presentations
I should be doing homework right now, but I got a new camera and want to start a blog! Tomorrow I have to do a teaching demo at my ESL class that I have been observing. The program chair will be there to observe me and evaluate my presentation. On Wednesday I have to give a presentation on an article and also come up with some activities about my article (?). Oy. There are also a final project and a final paper and book critique due at various times during the next three weeks.
